Four steps: AURA sets up your account, you receive an invitation, you set your password, then you sign in and get started

How to activate your AURA customer platform account

‍

When AURA onboards your organisation to the customer platform, you activate your own account. You receive an invitation, verify your email address and set a password that only you know.

‍

What's changed

‍

When you join the customer platform, AURA sets up your organisation's account using your name and your own email address. Activating the account is then in your hands.

  • AURA sets up your account using your name and your own email address.
  • You receive an invitation with a secure link to verify that address.
  • You set your password. Only you know it.
  • You sign in and get started. Your account is active and ready to set up.

Your account is tied to a verified email address that belongs to you. It is how you recover access if you forget your password, and how AURA reaches you about your account. Accounts are subject to a regular password reset cycle.

‍

Why this matters

‍

For your organisation

Access to your platform starts with a named, verified person. That protects your site information, access codes and user data from the first sign-in.

For you

Your login is yours. Only you know your password, and you can recover it yourself at any time.

‍

How to activate your account

‍

  1. Give AURA your own email address. Use an address that belongs to you alone and that you can access. A shared team address cannot be used.
  2. Open the invitation email. If it has not arrived, check your spam and quarantine folders.
  3. Select the link in the email. This confirms the address belongs to you.
  4. Set your password. Choose a password unique to you. Nobody else, including AURA, has access to it.
  5. Sign in to the customer platform. Your account is now active.

You can now start setting up the platform, including uploading your user database.

‍

Things to know

‍

  • Every account needs a unique email address belonging to one person. One address cannot be shared across several logins.
  • If someone at your organisation does not have an email address of their own, they will need one before they can be given access.
  • If your invitation link expires, contact your AURA customer success contact to send a new one.
  • To reset a forgotten password, use the forgotten password option on the sign-in screen and follow the link sent to your verified address. AURA cannot reset it for you.
  • Anyone added to the platform as a new user later receives the same invitation and sets their own password.
  • Existing customers can continue to sign in as before.

FAQs

Why do I need to use my own email address?
A verified address confirms the account belongs to you, lets you recover access yourself, and means AURA can reach you about your account.
Can AURA see or set my password?
No. You set your password, and only you know it.
Can we use one company email address for several people?
No. Every email address must belong to a single person.
I did not expect this invitation. What should I do?
Contact your internal IT department or your AURA account manager before selecting the link.
