When an alarm activates, the detection phase is complete. The system has identified a potential intrusion, security breach, or emergency and sent a signal.

But detection is only the first step. Without a response, an alarm simply reports that a threat may be present; it does not put a trained responder on site.

For the homeowner or business owner who paid for protection, that gap between the alert and the response is the part that matters most, and it is often the part the installed system was never built to handle.

This is the position many alarm installers and security dealers find themselves in.

You have specified and fitted reliable hardware. You have a monitoring relationship in place. Yet once a signal is verified, the physical follow-up depends on local police capacity, third-party guarding contracts you may not control, or simply hoping someone nearby can get there.

The technology stack ends at detection and notification. A dispatch backbone, the layer that turns a verified alert into a responder moving toward the address, is frequently missing or fragmented. By bridging this gap with a security dealer response network, integrators can offer the physical follow-up their clients expect.

Disambiguation

AURA is a B2B security response network platform, not a consumer home security brand. This article speaks to alarm installers, security dealers, and systems integrators who want to connect alarm systems to our dispatch network. AURA’s platform works behind the scenes as infrastructure that links alarms, monitoring environments, and security response units. It does not replace hardware, panels, or monitoring centers, and it does not sell directly to homeowners.

Where AURA sits in the chain

It helps to think of the security chain as four distinct links: the hardware that detects an event, the monitoring center that verifies it, the responder who physically attends, and the technology that connects verification to attendance.

Most dealers have the first two links covered. Panels, sensors, cameras, and a monitoring relationship with a central station are standard parts of any install. The third link, a responder who turns up, is usually missing or handled inconsistently through informal arrangements or a single local guarding contract that cannot scale or guarantee coverage.

AURA operates as the fourth link: the coordination layer providing a monitoring center integration for dealers who need to link verification to physical attendance.

When a monitoring center confirms that an alarm event is real, that confirmation triggers a dispatch request into the AURA network. Our system identifies the closest qualified responder using GPS-based routing, sends them full site detail, and tracks the callout from dispatch through to resolution.

We provide a complete monitoring center integration for dealers so that verified alarms always have somewhere productive to go once they have been verified as real.

How the integration works

There are three routes into the network, and which one suits a given dealer depends mostly on scale and how much of the client-facing experience you want to control.

Direct platform connectivity

This is the fastest route for most dealers. Your monitoring center's escalation process connects to AURA's dispatch engine, and confirmed alarms flow straight through to the nearest available responder.

There is minimal technical lift here because AURA is hardware-agnostic: the integration happens at the monitoring center and software level, working with any panel that already communicates through your central station's activation process.

You do not need to swap out equipment or change what you install at the property.

API integration

API integration suits dealers who run their own software stack or want tighter control over how dispatch requests are triggered and logged. AURA's team runs a requirement and flow workshop to map your specific triggers, system events, and backend workflows against the right API endpoints and webhooks.

You get documentation scoped to your use case, a sandbox environment with dedicated credentials to test the full flow before going live, and a direct channel for technical collaboration during the build. For a dealer with development resources, this route gives the most control over exactly how and when a dispatch request fires.

White-label app integration

White-label app integration is for dealers who want the entire client-facing experience, including how a customer activates a security response or views incident history, to sit inside their own branded environment rather than a third-party portal.

AURA's infrastructure runs in the background while your brand stays in front of the client. A ready-made sign-up flow comes included with this route, so your customers can register and activate without you needing to build onboarding screens from scratch.

Each route ends at the same place: a confirmed event from your installed system results in a licensed security responder being dispatched, with full visibility for you and your client on what happened and when.

What the AURA integrator program includes

To join the AURA Integrator Program, you need to register your interest through the program page.

AURA then sends an onboarding form that captures the detail needed to set the correct rate for your sites. Once a partner agreement is in place, you get access to the AURA integrator portal and tools and can begin loading sites immediately.

For pricing, AURA operates on a flat monthly subscription per site for commercial and residential alarm response — which covers unlimited callouts under fair use terms.

Video monitoring runs on a subscription and per-response model, with rates agreed based on use case.

You, as the integrator, own the billing relationship with your client entirely. You bundle AURA's cost into your own monthly service fee at whatever margin fits your business model.

There is no per-callout billing to manage with clients, which makes the service considerably easier to sell and to explain.

On the compliance side, AURA maintains rigorous vetting and licensing standards for every responder in the network, ensuring they meet the specific licensing and insurance requirements for the jurisdictions in which they operate.

This matters particularly in the US, where state-by-state security licensing is non-trivial to navigate. The compliance burden sits with AURA, not with the dealer.

Coverage extends across residential and commercial site types. Whether you're commissioning a single-camera residential installation or a multi-site retail portfolio, the same platform handles both.

AURA also supports a tiered model. Dealers can create a premium security response subscription for high-net-worth or priority clients, connecting those properties to the closest vetted responders with faster escalation ahead of standard law enforcement channels.

Commercial differentiation for systems integrators

The security market is highly competitive, with many companies fighting for thin margins on hardware installations. Offering basic hardware setups leaves dealers vulnerable to price cutting from competitors. Adding live, automated dispatch shifts your business model from a one-time hardware seller to an essential subscription service provider.

Expanding the geographical footprint

Traditionally, a local security dealer could only sell response services within the specific neighbourhood where their patrol vehicles operated.

If a commercial client opened a secondary branch fifty kilometres away, the dealer lost that business to a regional competitor. By connecting a centralized security response network, your company can confidently secure contracts across entire regions or countries, knowing that the dispatch platform covers those areas seamlessly.

Elevating client retention through accountability

Clients expect transparency from modern service providers. The digital backbone of the network tracks every phase of an activation.

When an emergency signal activates, the system records the precise second the message arrived, when the responder accepted the call, and when the vehicle reached the property perimeter.

This data produces comprehensive digital incident reports that dealers can share with clients, proving the exact value of the security investment and building immense brand loyalty.
